Rextron KVM Extender PS2 (PS2 + KVM-PC-PS2 > PC-PS2 + KVM-PS2)

KVM Extender PS2 (keyboard, mouse and monitor) through Cat.5 UTP cable (or higher) and a maximum distance of 150m at a resolution of up to 1024 x 768 (valid for most applications. Rextron range extenders offer solutions tailored to your needs.

KVM Extender via UTP cable has two parts (or modules) distinct: Stantion Unit and Computer Unit. Management control is always the Station Unit to the Computer Unit

Station Unit

• You connect a KVM console. PS2 Female connectors available (2xMiniDIN6 + 1xHD15) for keyboard, mouse and monitor. This console allows PC control of the Station Unit and the PC connected to the Computer Unit
• PC connector. This is a HD15 female connector that is used in conjunction with a special cable that has one end and HD15-Male connectors on the other end PS2 Male (2xMiniDIN6 + 1xHD15). The cable is supplied and is 1.8m in length.
• RJ45-Female connector for interconnecting the two modules.
• Connector for external power supply DC 9V (supplied).
• Button to switch the PC to be controlled (local or remote).
• LED status indicators and operational.

Computer Unit

• You connect a KVM console. PS2 Female connectors available (2xMiniDIN6 + 1xHD15) for keyboard, mouse and monitor. This console allows PC control of the Computer Unit only.
• PC connector. This is a HD15 female connector that is used in conjunction with a special cable that has one end and HD15-Male connectors on the other end PS2 Male (2xMiniDIN6 + 1xHD15). The cable is supplied and is 1.8m in length.
• RJ45-Female connector for interconnecting the two modules.
• Connector for external power supply DC 9V (not included because the use of the source in the Computer Unit is optional.)
• Button to switch the PC to be controlled (local or remote).
• LED status indicators and operational.
